Alberta Giorgi is a post-doctoral researcher in Sociology at the Policredos (The Politics of Cultural and Religious Diversity in Southern Europe) observatory of the Center for Social Studies at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, and a post-doctoral associate at the GSRL (Groupe Sociétés, Religions, Laïcités). She is also a team member of the SuiGeneris and PolisLombardia observatories of the Bicocca University in Milan.
