Alessandro Politi is the NATO Defense College Foundation Director. Politi, a political and strategic analyst, has written 12 books and numerous essays. He has acted as a consultant for high-level decision-makers in the governmental, parliamentary and private sectors, working with a range of institutions. A graduate of the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, with a degree in Military History, he served in the Italian Army General Staff.
